Vanbots is proud of our safety record which is envied by the construction industry. We presently are in the top 2% of the construction industry according to the WSIB.

Vanbots Construction has recently implemented a "Behaviour Based" Safety program and is the first company in the construction industry to do so. In fact, Vanbots is being used as a model for the WSIB. As part of Vanbots' commitment to provide a safe work environment, we have established this program to positively reinforce "safe" behaviours and identifying and correcting "at risk" behaviours.

Behaviours are actions we can see and measure. Whether behaviours are repeated or not depends on their consequences. Actions with positive results tend to be repeated. Actions with negative results tend to be avoided.

Safe behaviour must therefore be shown to yield benefits. These benefits will in turn reinforce the actions that produced them. In this way, safety becomes a habit.
